2009-03-29 - Forging On:
OK, OK--so I'm hugely embarassed that it's been almost a year since my last update. I'll blame part of that on losing the hard-drive with my web files. But only part.
I have completed the rough draft of Confessio Nauticus, and anticipate completion of the edit within a few weeks. I'm all set for the Backspace Writers Conference (May, NYC) and the Historical Novel Society conference (June, Chicago). And, of course, I'll be attending the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' conference here in Denver in September.
In the mean time, Nauticus has been awarded third place in competitions hosted by Green River Writers and Pikes Peak Writers. I anticipate more good news to follow, as soon as I actually finish....
